What will I learn?

The Construction Site Safety Training (SST) virtual course will provide you with 30 hours of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training, eight hours of fall prevention training, and two hours of drug and alcohol awareness training. The training is provided at no-cost and will help you obtain your SST card. Certain construction industry jobs in the cable installation field will require the SST card.

What do I need?

A desktop computer, laptop, or tablet device with internet access is necessary to attend the virtual course.

How long will this take?

This training will take 40 hours to complete.

What can I do after completing this class?

Once you have successfully completed SST, you can prepare for a career as a cable installer by enrolling in self-paced online training in low voltage electricity.
