What will I learn?

The Construction Site Safety Training (SST) virtual course will provide you with the required training to work on most construction jobs sites in NYC. The training is provided at no-cost and will help you obtain your SST card.

For those with no prior training, this course provides 30 hours of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training, eight hours of fall prevention training, and two hours of drug and alcohol awareness training.

For those with a valid OSHA 30-hour card received in the last five years, SBS provides a fast track to earn your SST card by completing the final 10 hours of training (eight hours of fall prevention training, and two hours of drug and alcohol awareness training).

What do I need?

Currently, you will need a desktop computer, laptop, or tablet device with internet access is necessary to attend the virtual course. If you need access to a device, please let us know in the enrollment form below so we can help provide one.

How long will this take?

This training will take either 10 or 40 hours to complete.
